Children Are Made To Do stellenangebote

According to the UNICEF, there are a hundred and fifty eight million children between the ages of five and fourteen that are engaged in child labour.

It is really sad that children who are so fragile and weak are made to work when actually, they should be spending their growing years more fruitfully, doing the things that children should be doing, like reading and writing and arithmetic, playing games outdoors, joining the hockey and cricket teams, taking part in debates and elocution and learning how to adapt to adult life with its million ups and downs.

Millions of these little children are made to do dangerous stellenangebote. They are constantly exposed to chemicals, they are made to work in mines, they carry heavy loads on their heads, they are exposed to pesticides in agriculture, they work with dangerous machinery, they are slogging as domestic servants in homes, sweeping and swabbing, carrying bricks, pilling rubbish, They are working hard in plantations, in workshops, almost everywhere you can think of. Children seem to be the easy way out for adults, who would much rather bully and threaten weaklings who cannot retaliate in any way.

In Sub-Saharan Africa, one in three children is engaged in child labour. In South Asia, 44 million are engaged in child labour. Those burdened with household chores are girls. Child labour interferes with the child getting a good education. How can a child who is burdened with chores, perform well in school? How can he come home tired after working all day and then concentrate on learning things? Millions of children are denied their basic rights to quality education, health care and protection. Millions of children around the world are doing stellenangebote that are actually only meant for adults to do. Where is justice? Millions of children are exposed to abuse and neglect. This is because, we as adults fail to protect their rights. This vulnerable age must be changed into an age of opportunity for our little children. They need to live the life they deserve. We must not let anyone take advantage of their vulnerability and expose them to harm and neglect in their early childhood.

Experts will always blame the system when it comes to child labour. They blame it on poverty, illiteracy and adult unemployment. However, the fact remains that the entire nation is responsible for every crime committed on a little child.
